In your apartment you will find everything you need for your breakfast: Coffee, milk, tea, cereals, bread, biscuits, pie, eggs, jams made with fruit from the farm, fruit, yogurt.
For lunch you will dine on your creations from the cooking classes accompanied by our delicious organic red wines completely made in the farm. The lunch will be in the Raffaella’s home or in the garden of the Farm.
Dinners are not included.
The lunches from our cooking classes are very rich and the afternoon Tours often include tastings so our guests enjoy light dinner to be ready for the next cooking class. In the apartments the guests have a well-equipped kitchen and after each tour our driver can do a stop in a grocery store to buy all they need for their dinner.
The guests can also ask the driver to bring them, after the afternoon Tour, in the historical center of Perugia and dine in a restaurant; the driver will come to pick up them after the dinner ( no extra rate).

Her mother-in-laws homemade red wine. Made for a fun time and a great meal. I would recommend to anyone. Nancy StaffordVerified Book now It was perfect. I didn’t realize this had not been posted. The farm is very nice, and the afternoon activities are very interesting. merrimen3Verified Authentic Italian cooking experience Raffaella is a wonderful host. She is very prepared and organized. My husband and i really enjoyed our class because it was a very authentic experience. We were welcomed into raffaellas house and spent several hours making a 4 course meal including pasta. It was very interesting discussing food and Italian life. I would highly recommend the experience. Nancy StaffordVerified Great, great day Raffealla was a phenomenal host. She is funny. She doesn't expect you to know how to cook, but doesn't treat you like a novice. It is a skill. We did the one day lesson, but I would go back to do a longer one. We were two couples with another couple and a single person who was staying there. It is really hands on. You do the work and she teaches you. Then . . . there is the feast! Eating the food you cooked with some wine. Perfect. IMWHMVerified Hands on! Raffaella was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and patient. The five-course meal we prepared and the actual sit-down luncheon exceeded expectations. We left with our aprons, the recipes and new friends (the other student couple participating). If I could give 50 stars, Raffaella would get them all. What can I say – this was simply the best experience I had in Italy, one that made me fall in love all over again with Italian food culture. We came as two people to her place as part of a three-day cooking course (five days in total, including the first check-in day and the last check-out day), and right upon arrival we knew this wasn’t just another trip to Italy or another cooking class. The estate itself is breathtakingly beautiful, including the winding road that leads up to it. Raffaella’s farmhouse felt like a scene from a movie – lush greenery all around, rustic and completely authentic. Each of us was given an apartment with two rooms: a living room and kitchen in the first, and a bedroom in the second. The design was rustic and very welcoming, and from each room you step straight out into a large garden with fruit trees heavy with ripe fruit and a spacious swimming pool. The bathroom in each apartment was also large and comfortable. At first we thought this style was designed especially for us tourists, but the next day, when we started the course in Raffaella’s own home, we realized it was no gimmick – it reflected her real house, like a natural extension. From the very start of the course, we fell in love with Raffaella – with the love and pride she has both for hospitality and for food and Italian tradition. We met a wonderful person who truly loves people, who enjoys explaining Italian cooking and answering every question patiently and in detail. It was clear how important it was to her to give each of us personal attention and to make us fall in love with Italian cooking just as she has. The lessons are in small groups, usually 4–6 people, and in every session you cook together a full Italian meal – first course, second course, main, and dessert. Raffaella’s explanations are simple and clear, and after each session of about three hours, everyone sits down together to enjoy the dishes. And oh, what dishes they were! Throughout the course, Raffaella emphasized the importance of ingredient quality and how they pair together. Her cooking is defined by simplicity, the union of just a few top-quality ingredients, and sublime flavor. The looks on our faces and the sighs of delight at every meal told the whole story. Each meal was accompanied by wine produced by Raffaella’s family at the estate – honestly some of the best wine I’ve ever tasted – and the wonderful olive oil we cooked with, also locally produced on the farm. After every session there was time to rest, and then we went on excursions with a driver and guide, each carefully chosen – culture, history, wine tastings at vineyards, olive oil tastings, pottery workshops – all in the ancient and special towns of Umbria. In the evenings, you could either dine in one of the local restaurants or shop at the charming village grocery and enjoy a meal yourself (highly recommended!). On our last day together I felt real sadness, but I knew for sure I’d be back. Dear Raffaella – thank you so much for this wonderful experience, and for making me fall even more deeply in love with Italian cuisine!Posted on Google Christopher LewTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A Truly Authentic Umbrian Experience Tucked away in a peaceful countryside home, Let’s Cook Umbria is a gem of an experience hosted by the warm and passionate Raffaella. She opens her home to share not only traditional Tuscan recipes but also stories, laughter, and a love for cooking that’s contagious. From scratch, we prepared dishes like eggplant parmigiana, tagliatelle with zucchini and prosciutto, chicken saltimbocca, and of course—the showstopping tiramisu. Many ingredients came straight from her garden or local sources, adding to the freshness and authenticity of every bite. After cooking, it was so pleasant to sit out on the patio and enjoy the food we had made together—surrounded by nature, good company, and that perfect Umbrian charm. It was an incredibly fun, hands-on experience, and I can’t wait to recreate these delicious dishes at home. Highly recommend!Posted on Google Laurie EichelmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This cooking class was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Umbria! Held in the chef’s beautiful home nestled in the countryside, the experience felt incredibly personal and authentic. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends and immediately felt at ease. Raffaella shared not only delicious recipes but also stories, traditions, and techniques passed down through generations. We prepared a full traditional Umbrian meal from scratch, using fresh, local ingredients—everything from handmade pasta to a decadent dessert. What made it even more special was the relaxed and joyful atmosphere, with plenty of laughter, wine, and conversation around the table outside in the garden where we shared the meal we prepared together. By the end of the afternoon, it felt more like a family gathering than a class. Highly recommended for anyone looking to connect with Umbrian culture in a meaningful and delicious way!Posted on Google SarahTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastico! Raphaella is a wonderful teacher - we had a superb morning at her lovely farmhouse near Perugia learning to cook an authentic 4 course Italian meal. She has an infectious enthusiasm and made the time both informative and fun. Don’t hesitate! You would have an amazing time …& eat a delicious lunch afterwards which you have prepared (accompanied by red wine produced on the farm).Posted on Google Donna TTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My husband and I just returned from a 5-day tour at LCU. It was wonderful!!! Raffaella is an excellent teacher and hostess - she’s sweet, kind, friendly, funny, energetic, enthusiastic, a good teacher, a great cook 😁! Plus, her cooking school is very well-run. My husband, who is not into cooking and was not particularly looking forward to the class, participated and enjoyed it very much. I’m sure eating the delicious food we made helped him come to that realization! I loved all of the food we made and cannot wait to try all the recipes. It was also fun to work with the other people in the class. Everything we made was so good. Lunch was served outside, in a beautiful setting. The farm is in the beautiful hills of Perugia - we enjoyed sitting outside our apartment in the morning listening to the cows mooing and singing birds while we read. The afternoon tours were interesting and fun. We had down time to rest or do other things if we chose to do so. It was really perfect! My friends had expectations when I told them I was going to cooking school in Italy, so I told them we can cook an authentic Italian meal to enjoy together. I hope we can duplicate just a portion of the deliciousness that was achieved in class. Let’s Cook in Umbria is well worth the time and money.Posted on Google Norbert KlarenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Deze workshop was heel speciaal. Raffaella makes the whole experience so much fun while we learned so much. The rooms are clean and roomy. Raffaella is very organized and answers all questions with grace and knowledge. We are so happy with our cooking experience, we highly recommend you attend at least 3 days of cooking classes. The farm/orchards are beautiful with gorgeous views all around. Just 2 hours south of Florence.
