It is a program to discovered regional traditions, ancient rites, traditional cuisine and amazing natural environments.

Celebrate the Easter Day  in Tuscany: we offer an amazing full day Tour to discover the region of the Trasimeno Lake and the spectacular, unspoiled countryside of  Tuscany’s Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This area is home to Brunello di Montalcino, one of Italy’s most famous wines. On top of fantastic wines and scenery, the picturesque towns of Montalcino e Pienza rich in artistic and cultural gems, making this destination a wine lover’s paradise.

Day by Day Itinerary of the Tour


  • Day 1 – Arrive
    Arrival at the country farm “La volpe e l’uva” (Perugia, Central Italy, Umbria, near Tuscany). Check-in your apartment at 4:00pm.
  • Day 2  – Cooking +  wine and olive oil Tour
    Morning. Hands-on cooking lesson starts around 10:00 am. You will prepare a four course lunch with recipes typical of the Easter eve. For lunch you will eat your creations accompanied by our wines.
    Afternoon. The afternoon is dedicated to the discovery of 2 gastronomic richness of Umbria: Sagrantino wine and extra virgin olive oil. You will have a wine tour in a winery that produces Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCGS. You will have a guided tour of the vineyard, cellars finishing up with a test of local Umbrian specialties and the wines.  Our olive oil tour include visits to family-run organic oil mills in the most famous Umbrian oil regions with tasting of the local produce along with accompanying local food products.
  • Day 3  – Cooking + Assisi Tour
    Morning. Hands-on cooking class starts around 9,30 pm. You will prepare a four course lunch with typical Easter recipes, that you will eat at the end of the class, accompanied by our wines.
    Afternoon. Assisi is a beautiful medieval town based on Mount Subasio, overlooking a peaceful Umbrian landscape. It is essentially known for the fact that it’s the place of birth of St. Francis in and that of Santa Chiara. You will visit the city and the famous churches like the St. Francis Church filled with spectacular frescoes by Giotto, and also the Eremo delle Carceri (a peacefully isolated church and monastery in the wooded slopes just outside Assisi’s walls, this was the first monastic home of St. Francis’ and his followers) and the St. Damiano church (A church and monastery outside the city walls is where the crucifix spoke to St. Francis, prompting him to repair it and begin his ministry.   • Day 4 Easter Sunday  – Full day in Castiglione del Lago, Val’Orcia in Tuscany and dinner in the farm
    Morning. The first stop of your full day Tour is the guided visit of Castiglione del Lago.  It is an incomparably delightful village located on a chalky promontory overlooking Lake Trasimeno with all the impressiveness of its castle, “Rocca del Leone”.  The lunch will be in a beautiful winery in Tuscany (vald’Orcia) in the production area of the famous wine “Brunello di Montalcino”. You will have lunch, wine tour and tastings. In the afternoon you will have time to see the beautiful and untouched landscape that is the absolute protagonist in Valdorcia: this area of Tuscany boasts of endless rolling hills covered with grain or sunflowers, a rich green valley which encompasses the Orcia river. You will have also a free visit the wonderful village of Montalcino. Dinner in the Farm.

The prices are for single travelers  (single occupancy) and for groups from 2 to 8 people ( double occupancy).  If your group is composed by more than 8 people send me your request and we will send you the best price!
It is also possible to bring along a non-participating partner who can spend the morning enjoying the surroundings, and could then join the group at lunchtime. Non-participating guests are welcome on the excursion and can use all the facilities at the farmhouse and join all the meals, just not the actual cooking classes.

Group from 2 to 3  people Participating guest, double  occupancy in 1 apartment (2 people) and in 2 apartments (3 people) 1350 euro

Group of 4  people Participating guest, double  occupancy in 2 apartments 1100 euro

Group from 5 to 6 people Participating guest, double occupancy in 3 apartments 1000 euro

Group from 7 to 8 people Participating guest, double occupancy in 3 apartments 950 euro

Non-participating guest, double occupancy rate 1000 euro

If you are a group of people and you want to have single occupancy ( 1 person in 1 apartments) the single supplement is 150 euro.



  • Accommodation in the apartment of the farmhouse “la volpe e l’uva” in Perugia (40mq, lounge with cooking area and double sofa bed double bedroom and bathroom), included bed linen, towels, final cleaning.
  • breakfasts (in your apartment you will find coffee, milk, biscuits, jams, butter and sugar)
  • 2 cooking classes of approximately 4 hours,
  • 2 Four course meal from the cooking lesson;
  • 1 Dinner in the farm;
  • Umbrian wines during meals, liquors for after dinner/lunch;
  • Certificate of participation;
  • Folder with all the recipes;
  • Apron of Let’s cook in Umbria.
