Details of the Easter 2025 Package

Day by Day Itinerary of the Tour

 

  • Day 1 – Arrive
    Arrival at the country farm “La volpe e l’uva” (Perugia, Central Italy, Umbria, near Tuscany). Check-in your apartment starting from 2.00pm.

 

  • Day 2  – Cooking +  Olive Oil Tour
    Morning. Hands-on cooking lesson starts around 10:00 am. You will prepare a four course lunch with recipes typical of the Easter eve. For lunch you will eat your creations accompanied by our wines.
    Afternoon. In the olive oil tour your guide will explain you curiosities, traditions and our oil producing methods. You will participate in an” Itinerary in Olive Oil and Food Culture“, which ends with the extraordinary art of sensory tasting. A unique experience to rediscover the sense of smell and taste, to learn, recognize and appreciate the highest quality oil. Thanks to combinations with food, you will discover how quality oil can enhance the flavors of even the simplest dishes. After the tour you will have free time to visit the village of Bettona.

 

  • Day 3  – Cooking + Assisi Tour
    Morning. Hands-on cooking class starts around 9,30 pm. You will prepare a four course lunch with typical Easter recipes, that you will eat at the end of the class, accompanied by our wines.
    Afternoon. Assisi is a beautiful medieval town based on Mount Subasio, overlooking a peaceful Umbrian landscape. It is essentially known for the fact that it’s the place of birth of St. Francis in and that of Santa Chiara. You will visit the city and the famous churches like the St. Francis Church filled with spectacular frescoes by Giotto, and also the Eremo delle Carceri (a peacefully isolated church and monastery in the wooded slopes just outside Assisi’s walls, this was the first monastic home of St. Francis’ and his followers) and the St. Damiano church (A church and monastery outside the city walls is where the crucifix spoke to St. Francis, prompting him to repair it and begin his ministry.   • Day 4   – Cooking + Trasimeno Lake tour
    Morning. Hands-on cooking class starts around 9,30 pm. You will prepare a four course lunch with typical Easter recipes, that you will eat at the end of the class, accompanied by our wines.
    Afternoon.  Enjoy on a full-day tour that begins with a guided visit to the charming villages of Panicale and Castiglione del Lago. Panicale, once a medieval castle, retains its original 12th-century defensive walls, overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The town is circular, reaching its peak at the highest point, providing breathtaking views of the lake and hills.
    Continue your adventure with a wine tour and tastings in a picturesque winery situated at the boundary between Tuscany and Umbria.

 

  • Day 5 – Departure

PRICES 2025 –  RATES

The prices are for single travelers  (single occupancy) and for groups from 2 to 8 people ( double occupancy).  If your group is composed by more than 8 people send me your request and we will send you the best price!
It is also possible to bring along a non-participating partner who can spend the morning enjoying the surroundings, and could then join the group at lunchtime. Non-participating guests are welcome on the excursion and can use all the facilities at the farmhouse and join all the meals, just not the actual cooking classes.

 

Solo travelers Participating guest, single occupancy 1400 euro

Group from 2 to 3  people Participating guest, double  occupancy in 1 apartment (2 people) and in 2 apartments (3 people) 1200 euro

Group of 4  people Participating guest, double  occupancy in 2 apartments 1150 euro

Group from 5 to 8 people Participating guest, double occupancy in 3 apartments 1050 euro

If you are a group of people and you want to have single occupancy ( 1 person in 1 apartments) the single supplement is 150 euro.

 

Inclusions:

  • Accommodation in the apartment of the farmhouse “la volpe e l’uva” in Perugia (40mq, lounge with cooking area and double sofa bed double bedroom and bathroom), included bed linen, towels, final cleaning.
  • breakfasts (in your apartment you will find coffee, milk, biscuits, jams, butter and sugar)
  • 3 cooking classes of approximately 4 hours,
  • 3 Four course meal from the cooking lesson;
  • Umbrian wines during meals, liquors for after dinner/lunch;
  • Certificate of participation;
  • Folder with all the recipes;
