This package is offered to fans of walks and trekking who want to discover the most fascinating hidden places of our region.
In the first day we offer amazing hiking to the Monte Pacciano loop, a great place for observation of Perugia, Assisi and the surrounding plain. In the second day you will participate in a panoramic walk along the ancient Roman aqueduct, recently restored near Spello. The Urban trekking, the third day, will show you the lesser-known parts of the beautiful cities of Perugia.
A guide of our staff will accompany you in the excursions.
Reservations are on request for any day, year round, based upon availability, for a minimum of two people.

Day by Day Itinerary of the Holiday
- Day 1 – Arrive in Perugia
Arrival at the country farm “La volpe e l’uva” (Perugia, Central Italy, Umbria, near Tuscany). Check-in your apartment starting from 2.00 pm.
- Day 2 – Cooking + The Monte Pacciano loop
Morning: Hands-on cooking class starts around 10:00am. You will prepare a four course lunch that you will eat at the end of the class, accompanied by our wines.
Afternoon: The starting point of the trekking tour is the farm ” la volpe e l’uva”.

Average excursion time: 3.20 hours
Length of the path: km 11,00 km
From the farm you will go up to the crest of Monte Pacciano. Along the path you will see the remains of the Perugia’s Medieval aqueduct. The Monte Pacciano top is called Posto bello “Lovely Place” was given this name because of it’s magnificent views. From here you can see a part of the Apennines, the Middle Tiber valley, Monte Subasio and all of Perugia.
- Day 3- Cooking + Trekking of the Ancient Roman Aqueduct
Morning:Hands-on cooking class starts around 10:00am. You will prepare a four course lunch that you will eat at the end of the class, accompanied by our wines.
Afternoon: It is about 5 km walk at a height of almost 300 meters, from where you can admire the entire valley below Foligno and some views of the marvelous Spello.
The aqueduct is on the slopes of Mount Subasio, along the side of the stream Chiona: part below the castle of Collepino at an altitude of about 456 meter up to arrive at the entrance to the historical center of Spello at an altitude of about 300 meter.
- Day 4- Cooking + Urban trekking in Perugia
Morning:Hands-on cooking class starts around 10:00am. You will prepare a four course lunch that you will eat at the end of the class, accompanied by our wines.
Afternoon: Urban trekking is an excellent way to discover the lesser-known parts of the beautiful cities oh Perugia. It is a way to slow down and experience the local life and it is the most sustainable of all forms of tourism. The urban trekking winds through the streets of the city to discover the tourist’s excellencies in Perugia.
