Why should you take cooking classes in Italy?

Our suggestions for your best Culinary Experience in Italy

Thinking of taking cooking classes in Italy?

If your wish to have authentic cooking classes in Italy, cooking in a real Italian kitchen with freshly picked products from the vegetable garden and with extra virgin olive oil from our own olive grove, then Let’s Cook in Umbria is the perfect choose for you.

Taking part in a cooking class is the best way to know a new country: sit down at the table and taste all the most typical flavors.

There are many luxury villas in Italy where you can have tailor-made cooking experiences for tourists, but if you really want to have an authentic experience, forget the villa and choose an agriturismo.

Agriturismo” the Italian word to indicate the tourism in the countryside, where the small-scale production systems are favored, as well as the integration with the natural environment and the the ancient towns and medieval  villages.

Agriturismo gives its guests the opportunity to observe the places where Italian art originated and developed, and which still preserve many treasures for the visitor to discover.

Let’s Cook in Umbria is based in the family Agriturismo “La volpe e l’uva” in Perugia, a wonderful place where live our family and where we produce vegetables, fruits, extra virgin olive oil and wine. All the products used in our Italian cooking classes.

We offers you a unique culinary experience during which you will become part of the Italian culture. Everything you cook and eat is local and seasonal.

Raffaella, the chef, shares the secrets of traditional Italian cuisine in our full day and half day cooking classes as well as in our custom culinary packages.

If you join our Programs you will learn a lot about Italian culture by cooking, listening and tasting, because food has stories to tell.

Enjoy Italian cooking classes with chef Raffaella in the Umbrian countryside, cooking in our family kitchen and then devouring the delicious foods you just created accompanied by our wine!

After a welcome from Raffaella and a cup of coffee you will start cooking. You will prepare a four-course lunch which will of course include making the pasta by hand and the traditional rolling!
