Welcome to Umbria! This package is offered to fans of walks and trekking who want to discover the most fascinating hidden places of our region. These walks through the gentle landscape of Umbria take us through a countryside that is timeless.
Trekking paths in Umbria is a great experience to fully enjoy panoramic valleys.
One can learn much by travelling along ancient pathways which once had a different use than today routes used for commerce and communication; a part of history we must not forget and which you can keep alive.
Reservations are on request for any day, year round, based upon availability, for a minimum of two people

DAY BY DAY ITINERARY OF THE TOUR

• Day 1 - Arrive in Perugia
  Arrival at the country farm "La volpe e l'uva" (Perugia, Central Italy, Umbria, near Tuscany). Check-in your apartment at 4:00pm.
• Day 2 - The Monte Pacciano loop
  Hands-on cooking class starts around 10:00am. You will prepare a four course lunch that you will eat at the end of the class, accompanied by our wines.
  The tour take place from 15.00, The starting point is the farm " la volpe e l'uva", a A guide will accompany you on the path .

  Average excursion time: 3.20 hours
  Lenght of the path: km 11,00 km
  From the farm you will go up to the crest of Monte Pacciano. Along the path you will see the remains of the Perugia'sMedieval aqueduct. The Monte Pacciano top is called Posto bello "Lovely Place" was given this name because of it's magnificent views. From here you can see a part of the Appennines, the Middle Tiber valley, Monte Subasio and all of Perugia.
• Day 3- Chocolate and Wine Tour
  Hands-on cooking class starts around 10:00am. You will prepare a four course lunch that you will eat at the end of the class, accompanied by our wines.
  The tour take place from 15.00 to 19.00. You will visit the Perugia’s chocolate factory and the Chocolate Museum to learn about chocolate production. The "House of Chocolate" includes a chance to see the Perugina chocolate factory in operation, as well as a visit to the Museo Storico (Historic Museum). The museum explains the process of converting cocoa into chocolate, and introduces the history of the Perugina chocolate company.
  You will have a wine tour in a Winemakers Company near Perugia. It is a vineyard under family management, which with special care from their very own vines, produces D.O.C. Colli Perugini and IGT dell’Umbria white, red and rosè wines. You will have a guided tour of the vineyard and the Winery itself, finishing up with a wine tasting together with some sampling of local Umbrian specialties.
• Day 4- Walk to the "Neviere" of Monte Tezio
  Hands-on cooking class starts around 10:00am. You will prepare a four course lunch that you will eat at the end of the class, accompanied by our wines.
  The tour take place from 15.00, A guide will bring you in the strating point of the paht and will accompany you on the path.

  Lenght of the path: km 12,00 km
  This walk begins at the base of Monte Tezio (580 m). The sides of the mountain are covered with oak forests of oak, oak and elm, hornbeam, and these are accompanied by ash, and pine trees of different species of conifers. The mountain and its surroundings are protected by the municipal park upstream Tezio, covering an area of ​​about 135 ha.
  In a grassy area of the valley, at an altitude of 917 m above sea level, lie the remains of ancient "neviere", where during the winter was introduced and compacted snow, protected by a substantial layer of straw, you could use during the 'summer.
