If you are spending your holiday in Umbria and Tuscany, but find you don’t have time for a full culinary vacation, we also offer one full "cooking day" including cooking class, lunch and gourmet tour. Add a dash of Umbrian cooking to your vacation with our one full cooking day program. It will make your vacation unforgettable!
The one full cooking day includes cooking classes in the morning and tours of interesting places with a culinary focus in the afternoon, this is a great way to indulge yourself with good taste, while exploring this great region of Umbria. Reservations are on request for any day, year round, based upon availability, for a minimum of two people.
Our cooking class begin at approximately 10.00 a.m. and are generally about 3/4 hours long and include the preparation of a multi-course meal, which you enjoy with wine at the end of the lesson. The Umbrian cuisine is incredibly rich and varied, famed for its heady olive oil; the wines are among the best produced in Italy. Recipes vary according to the season, utilizing only the freshest ingredients available and providing you with a deeply individual Italian experience. The cooking lessons are great, the food sublime!
Program of the one full "cooking day" in Umbria
10:00 Arrive in the country farm "la volpe e l'uva" in Perugia. Begin instruction, highlighting the history of Umbria cooking and presenting the day's menu. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves for hands-on preparation of a glorious meal.
13:00 Enjoy the fruits of your work! Eat the foods that you just created complemented by our wine and extra virgin olive oil.
15.00: Departure from the tour with minivan and driver. The tours are mainly focused on the gastronomic richness of the region.
We can arrange transfer from your hotel and villa rental, if needed.
